Returns, Refunds & Shipping
Last Updated: September 10, 2026
golden eyes project wants purchases made through our gallery and shop to be handled with care and transparency. This policy explains the shipping, delivery, cancellation, return and refund practices of Golden Eyes Project Foundation, doing business as golden eyes project (“gep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Because our gallery may include original artwork, commissioned artwork and other creative products, the policies that apply can differ depending on what you purchase.
1. Original Artwork
Original artwork is unique and often requires specialized handling, packing and shipping. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, sales of original artwork are considered final once the artwork has been shipped.
We encourage purchasers to review artwork descriptions, dimensions, materials and other available information carefully before completing a purchase. If you have questions about a work before purchasing it, please contact gep.
This final-sale policy does not limit any rights you may have if an artwork arrives damaged, materially differs from its listing or applicable law otherwise requires a remedy.
2. Commissioned Artwork
Custom commissions are created specifically for an individual purchaser and are generally not eligible for return or refund because of a change of mind.
Commission payments, cancellations, modifications, approval procedures and other terms specific to commissioned artwork are governed by the applicable Commission Agreement. If a provision of this policy conflicts with an executed Commission Agreement concerning a particular commission, the Commission Agreement will govern that transaction.
3. Shop Products & Merchandise
Return eligibility for non-custom merchandise and other standard shop products will be identified on the applicable product listing or during the purchasing process.
Unless a product is identified as final sale, customized, made to order or otherwise subject to different terms, eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unused and returned in its original condition.
Before returning an item, please contact gep so we can confirm eligibility and provide applicable return instructions.
Counsel/operations review requested: Confirm the 30-day return period and any product-specific exclusions before the gep Shop launches.
4. Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact gep as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests received before an order has entered fulfillment or been shipped. Once fulfillment or shipment has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Commission cancellations are governed separately by the applicable Commission Agreement.
5. Shipping & Fulfillment
Shipping methods, costs and estimated delivery information will be provided when available during the purchasing or fulfillment process.
Original artwork may be professionally packed and shipped to help protect the work during transit. Depending on the artwork, destination and fulfillment requirements, shipping arrangements may differ from those used for ordinary merchandise.
Purchasers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. Please contact gep promptly if you discover an error in your delivery information.
6. Shipping Times
Processing and delivery times may vary depending on the item, creator, fulfillment method and destination. Any shipping or delivery timeframe provided by gep is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Original artwork and made-to-order or custom products may require additional preparation before shipment.
If a significant fulfillment delay occurs after purchase, gep will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the purchaser regarding the order.
7. Damaged Artwork or Products
If an artwork or product arrives damaged, please contact gep as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
We may ask you to retain the item and its original packaging and provide photographs of the item, packaging and visible damage so that we can evaluate the issue and, where applicable, work with the creator, fulfillment provider, carrier or insurer.
Depending on the circumstances and availability of the item, an appropriate resolution may include repair, replacement, refund or another mutually agreed solution.
Please do not discard damaged artwork or shipping materials until gep confirms that they are no longer needed.
8. Lost or Missing Shipments
If tracking information indicates a problem or your shipment has not arrived within a reasonable period after its expected delivery, please contact gep.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate the shipment with the applicable carrier, creator or fulfillment provider. The available resolution may depend on the circumstances, carrier procedures, insurance coverage and whether the shipment can be located or replaced.
9. Returns
Before sending any item back to gep, please contact us for return authorization and instructions.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. Eligible returned items should be packaged appropriately and returned in the condition required under this policy.
Unless the return results from damage, an incorrect item, a material error by gep or another circumstance for which gep accepts responsibility, the purchaser may be responsible for applicable return-shipping costs.
Original artwork should not be returned without specific packing and shipping instructions from gep.
10. Refunds
When a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method where practicable.
Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Shipping or other fulfillment charges may be nonrefundable where permitted by law unless the refund results from an error, damage or other circumstance for which gep accepts responsibility.
11. International Shipping
International shipping availability may vary by artwork, product and destination.
International purchasers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. These charges are separate from amounts collected by gep where applicable.
International shipping may also involve additional delivery time, carrier restrictions or customs procedures.
Counsel/operations review requested: Confirm international shipping, customs, risk-of-loss and return procedures before international sales are enabled.
12. Exceptions & Applicable Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit return, refund, replacement or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
gep may make reasonable exceptions to this policy when circumstances warrant, including to resolve fulfillment errors, damaged shipments or other unusual situations fairly.
13. Contact Us
Questions about an order, shipment, return or refund may be submitted through the contact information provided on the golden eyes project website. Please include sufficient information for us to identify the applicable order or transaction.
